Sydney Crosby: Hockey Player or Olympic Diver?

October 21st, 2006 by murph

Penguins’ superstar Sydney Crosby feels he doesn’t need to defend himself from Coach Nolan’s statements on Thursday night…but he went ahead and did it anyways.

“I don’t need to defend myself,” said Crosby, who has not been called for a diving penalty this season. “I think my play more than shows the type of player I am. I’d be worried if I went out there and did that, but I don’t.”

Make up your mind Syd…oh, and stop diving like the bastard love child of Wayne Gretzky and Greg Louganis.

    1) There is No doubt that El-Sid is a major league diver/whiner. There is also no doubt he is the NHL’s Golden boy. The face of the New NHL. he wil be protected at all cost
    2) He is though for his age an amazing player who scarily will only improve as he matures
