Satan Leads Islanders No-Stars

January 10th, 2007 by murph

The final voting for the 2007 NHL All-Star Game starters have been released. Not surprisingly, no Islanders were voted in. It appears that Miroslav Satan led all Islanders with 63,067 votes, good for 30th in the Eastern Conference - ouch! Sid The Kid was probably getting that many votes EACH WEEK.

Of course the Islanders are guaranteed at least one All-Star later, when the coaches fill out the rosters. Blake? DP? Who do you think it will be? My $$ is on #55.

I think it’ll go to Blake. Others have been All-Stars already, others look like they could be All-Stars in the future. Blake’s 33 and having a career year, the spot is his.
