The Boss Says Attendance is Picking Up

Just as I expected with football just about over, and all those back-loaded ticket packages kicking in, Islanders’ attendance is on the rise. From Bossy’s Blog:
It has been great to see the big crowds in the last month. Over our last 7 games we’re averaging crowds of close to 95% capacity. Keep it up!!!!!! We need you there. The NYI Havoc Energy Zone has been a great addition to the Coliseum and it brings a certain energy that I’m sure all fans appreciate.

The attendance sure as hell couldn’t get worse….otherwise there’d be no one there. And giving away $19 down low in the 100 section sure doesn’t hurt the numbers. It has everything to do with the promotions and less to do with the team’s performance which is around 500.

if the islanders are saying attendance is picking up - obviously ownership wasnt at last nights game- apparently the 10,000 empty seats dont agree with management.
