TOR/MTL Free-View on NHL Center Ice

So I was really annoyed this morning as I checked the TV listings and saw there are NO games on Versus tonight. Way to go there guys. That’s OK I thought, I’m sure either Yahoo Sports or Comcast Live would be streaming the game online tonight. Wrong again.
However, thanks to a little loophole on most cable systems the Toronto/Montreal may be available to you. On many cable systems, the MLB package and the NHL package overlap. And since the MLB package is free this week, so is NHL Center Ice. I just found the TOR/MTL game on channel 437 NHL7 on NYC Time Warner. If you really want to see the game, check your local listings.
As I turned the game on period 2 just started. The Leafs scored to take a 3-1 lead but have just surrendered back to back goals and allowed Montreal to tie the game. The crowd in Toronto sounds like they are ready to riot in the streets with every shot, save and goal. It’s awesome.
[UPDATE] Holy #%@! Michael Ryder has a natural hat trick for Montreal who now leads 4-3 with 12+ left in the 2nd. The Leafs just pulled Raycroft.
[UPDATE 2] Crazy, crazy game in Toronto. Highly entertaining hockey. The Leafs have stormed back with 2 in the 3rd to take a 6-5 lead, 13 minutes left in the game.
[UPDATE 3] It’s over in Toronto, Maple Leafs win. The Islanders’ season all comes down to tomorrow’s game vs New Jersey, win and IN. Go OrangeAndBlue!!
