Islanders Join the Entourage

In addition to being an Islanders fan, I’m also a pretty big fan of HBO’s Entourage TV show. There were many weeks this spring where I wished Entourage was an hour long and The Soprano’s only 30 minutes instead of vice-versa. The show returned from a one week vacation to start season four this past week, and actor Kevin Connolly known as “E” on the show, was rocking an Islanders cap all episode long during the crew’s movie shoot in Columbia.
Puck Update managed to grab a screencap of Connolly and the hat, and dug up an old interview with Connolly about his Islanders allegiance.
PuckUpdate has learned ENTOURAGE’s Kevin Connolly is one. On Sunday’s episode, he wore an Islanders cap throughout the entire show. This was the best grab I could find:
I did some research and apparently Connolly is a hockey/Isles fan:
Puck Update: I just know you’re an Islanders fan.
Kevin Connolly: Die-hard Islanders fan – and we’re going to the playoffs, and we’re going big in the playoffs. Islanders are going to go deep into the playoffs. I feel it.
Puck Update: Do you paint your face?Kevin Connolly: Do I what?!?
Puck Update: Paint your face.
Kevin Connolly: With Islanders colors? No, but I wear an Islanders hat. I’m wearing one on Entourage this year a couple times. The Islanders are the pride and joy of Long Island. They’re all we got out there.
Obviously, it’s an old interview. So there you have it.
[UPDATE] I got a better screen capture. Also, a friend reminded me of another Entourage episode where E wore an Islanders T-Shirt, we don’t know what episode it was though. If anyone knows, let me know and I’ll get a screencap.

Kevin Connolly is so cute. Love him in the simple blue tee and Islanders hat.
Kevin Connolly is such a guy’s guy. Love that he is still so New York despite all his years in LA.
People mistake Kevin’s personality for rough, but I think he’s just genuine, wear your heart on your sleeve, impulsive, and keeping it real, New York Style.
